Eddie O’Hara is a registered independent consultant social worker and qualified primary teacher, with 40 years experience of ongoing direct work with children & families in the field of social work. Eddie provides a variety of training course: very popular is his blended 1 day course covering child protection and adult safeguarding. Eddie prides himself on the fact that despite his busy training and consultancy commitments, (which include working with Birmingham Women’s Centre, National Gamcare, various Police Forces, National Crime Agency, etc), he continues to spend the majority of his time working directly with children and families involved in all types of family placements, (child protection, adoption, fostering, special guardianship), etc. Eddie is a kind, caring and professional of high integrity and this is relected in both his professinal and vountary work Eddie works throughout the UK and Ireland, including in the past the USA, Turkey & Russia.
